Laino and you
To guarantee the best possible conditions for using your Laino products, we label each product with a PAO ‘period after opening’ symbol. This symbol depicts a box with an open lid and a figure followed by an "M", indicating the recommended number of months during which the product can be used optimally. For products that can be kept for at least 30 months from their data of manufacture, the PAO is not compulsory. To ensure a perfect conservation of your Laino products, we advise that you close them tightly after use and do not transfer them to another container.

But above all, it must have been tested using a standardised protocol to verify its conformance to tolerance specifications. This is the case with several of our products. Moisturising our skin is something that we should make a regular part of our daily health and beauty routine. By applying moisturising milk to our body every day, we enable our skin to remain soft, supple and elastic for longer and in this way it helps to fight the first signs of skin aging.
Very dry skin does not produce enough lipids to protect itself and maintain its moisture naturally. The cells of the epidermis lose their ability to retain water. The skin’s barrier no longer fulfils its protective role. The skin feels tight, prickly and uncomfortable. In some cases, very dry skin shows signs of atopy. Atopic skin is characterised by an excessively dry skin that may present red eczema-like marks, itching, inflammation or even weeping. This type of skin is linked to genetic or environmental factors. Opt for fragrance free and hypoallergenic products and acquire good habits (wear cotton clothes and ensure that the temperature of your bath or shower is not too hot). For these very dry skins with an atopic tendency, Laino has specifically designed an olive oil skincare range.
Dry skin is characterised by discomfort, prickling and tightness. It is also more sensitive to external aggressors. Skin that is lacking in lipids responds less easily and has less protection. It therefore requires appropriate protective skincare. Laino has developed a shea butter skincare range specifically for dry and sensitive skin.
Dehydrated skin is lacking in water. It sometimes feels tight when you step out of the shower in winter. Dehydrated skin feels rough to the touch. Its structure is healthy; it simply needs to be more (or better) moisturised, to correct its water deficit. We recommend that you take care of dehydrated skin using appropriate personal care and moisturising skincare products. Opt for lotions with a creamy texture that penetrate quickly into the skin. Laino has developed an apple pulp extract skincare range specifically for these dehydrated skins.
We often tend to confuse the terms deodorant and anti-perspirant. Deodorants help to mask perspiration odours and reduce the level of bacteria under the arms, using ingredients such as fragrance or alcohol, but do not contain aluminium salts. Antiperspirants which do contain aluminium salts enhance the role of deodorants by reducing perspiration under the arms. In both cases, deodorants and antiperspirants are designed to allow the skin to breathe. Laino offers a range of Freshness deodorants free from aluminium chlorohydrate, paraben and phenoxyethanol.
Laino took the decision not to use exclusively organic ingredients in order to retain the benefits of certain active ingredients key to the effectiveness of a cosmetic formula and to conserving products. Moreover, Laino is committed to offering quality products at an affordable price for all women.
