In a spirit of solidarity and bringing it closer to women’s lives, Laino is demonstrating its commitment to a major cause : fighting breast cancer.
On 18th June, for the fourth consecutive year, the Laino brand offered its support to La Rochambelle. For its 2011 event, the second leading women’s race in France brought together 14,000 women, all wearing pink, for a 5km walk/run through the city of Caen. By taking part, the women show their commitment towards fighting breast cancer, with 50% of the proceeds from entry fees donated to two local associations: Mathilde and Etincelle Basse-Normandie.
Laino, as a partner of the event, maintained a high profile throughout: a pop-up shop in the village and a mass distribution of samples and balloons. Laino is also committed to pay 20% of sales from the village to associations.
A resounding success for this operation which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere!
The next rendezvous will be in 2012, with even more competitors at the next La Rochambelle event!
